May, 2026: Jackie, Vin, and Lauren presented at the Michigan Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience conference held this year at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

May, 2026: Qianyi Yu joins the lab!!! Qianyi got a master's in MCDB at U-M and did research in our lab during that time. Now she joins the lab as an MCDB doctoral student!

May, 2026: Vin, Jackie and Lauren gave great talks and poster presentations at the MCDB department retreat, held at the historic Ford Presidential Library on the U-M North Campus.

May, 2026: Keira graduated with her degree in Biology, Health and Society from The University of Michigan! Congratulations, Keira!

May, 2026: The lab received the notice of award for a NIDA-supported R01 to study the cellular mechanisms of nicotine use disorder! 🎉 let's get to work!

April, 2026: Lauren gave a great talk at the NIDA T32 year-end research update.

March, 2026: Jackie won the lab March Madness pool! Good job, Jackie, and GO BLUE!

October, 2025: Dr. Lauren Madden joins the lab to study axonal computation!!! She brings a wealth of experience in thinking about axonal physiology and using biophysical modeling to study axons. Dr. Madden is awarded a spot on the U-M NIDA post-doctoral T32. 🎉Congratulations!

August, 2025: Dr. Kramer was awarded the Brain and Behavior Foundational Young Investigator Award to investigate how chronic nicotine alters dopaminergic axon physiology. 🎉Let's get to work!

June, 2025: Congratulations to Jackie Seddon and Vinayak Ghosh, both of whom passed their qualifying exams this month!
